How to Install the Live Chat on a Webflow Website

If your website was built with Webflow and you want to chat with visitors in real time, you can easily integrate Akece’s live chat widget. Just follow the steps below to embed the code on your site.

1. Create a Website Inbox

First, you’ll need to create a Website-type inbox in Akece.

To do this:

  • Go to Settings → Inboxes

  • Click Add Inbox

  • Select the Website option

  • Fill in the required fields and complete the setup

At the end, you’ll receive a code snippet to embed in your website.

2. Add the code in Webflow

Once you have the code, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Webflow account

  • Select the website where you want to install the chat

  • Go to the Settings of the selected site

  • Click the Custom Code tab

  • In the Footer Code section, paste your Akece widget script into the provided field

  • Save the changes

3. Publish the changes

After adding the code:

  • Click Publish

  • Select the desired domain

  • Click Publish to selected domains

4. Check if the widget is live

Visit your website and check if the Akece live chat widget appears in the bottom corner of the screen. If everything is set up correctly, it will be ready to start chatting with your visitors.
