If your website was built using WordPress, you can easily add Akece’s live chat widget to chat with your visitors in real time. Just follow the steps below using the official Akece plugin for WordPress.

1. Download the Akece Plugin

Go to the official GitHub repository and download the latest .zip file of the Akece plugin.

The plugin will soon be available directly in the WordPress plugin directory.

2. Upload the Plugin to WordPress

  1. Access your WordPress admin panel.

  2. Go to Plugins → Add New.

  3. Click on Upload Plugin.

  4. Select the downloaded .zip file and click Install Now.

  5. Once installed, click Activate Plugin.

3. Configure the Akece Plugin

With the plugin activated, follow the steps below to integrate the chat with your website:

  1. In the WordPress sidebar menu, go to Settings → Akece Chat.

  2. Fill in the configuration fields using the details from your Website inbox.

You can find these values in the Akece dashboard when creating the inbox:

  • Widget Token

  • Installation URL: for Akece, use https://dash.akece.com

4. Customize the Widget Appearance

You can configure:

  • Widget design: standard bubble or expanded bubble

  • Position: bottom right or left corner of the website

  • Language: Akece supports Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR), English (en), and Spanish (es)

  • Button text (optional): customize the text shown in the chat bubble, if using the expanded design

After filling in the information, click Save Changes.

5. Verify the Installation

Visit your website and check if the widget appears in the corner of the screen.
If everything is set correctly, your visitors can now chat with you in real time!
